Nepal Round-up: Nuggets from the Net

At a time when mainstream Nepali media are not giving the due coverage to food crisis, Sky News, a UK based news portal, has run a series. Sky News reporter Kitty Logan spends a day with a Nepali family to study the food crisis. Read also this and this. The situation looks grim.

Ironically, there are restaurants for vultures in Nepal.

Anna Haig, a former reporter with Keene Sentinel, a US daily, has launched a blog to help the students of a school at Jharuwarasi in Lalitpur district. The story reminds me of John Wood. Looks like a few Americans are changed after they come to Nepal.
