Shame On You, Hacker!

It's been a few days since I haven't got chance to have tea with my blogger friend Dinesh Wagle. He says he's busy with reviving United We blog that has been hacked by some miscreant(s). Lately, UWB has become immensely popular among Nepalis and foreigners who adhere to democratic norms and dream of democratic and at times a republican Nepal. But, as popularity grew, it obviously engendered enemies. Initially, it was UWB. Then, Dinesh posted the blogs in its sister-blog NepalBlog. But, it seems that someone is hell bent on hacking anything bloged by UWB fraternity. So, it did not bear to see the other posts coming endlessly.

As if he was not detered, Dinesh shifted his base to his personal site www.wagle.com.np. As I logged into it this morning, it too was replete with the name of Tika, showing its ugly countenance. So, the person is following Dinesh wherever he goes. Now, this is an act of cowardice. You live in an anonymous corner of world or probably in a manhole and indulge in a vengeful deed. Shame on you, hacker.

UWB, started by journos affiliated with Kantipur Publications was the first of its kind in Nepal. Until last year's Royal Proclamation, it was confined in its friend circle. But, king's unprecedented step forced the bloggers to fight for democracy. And, it's popularity spread like a wildfire. The serial hacking of the sites is higjly deplorable and condemnable.

Hope you will soon find some freedom loving hackers to trace these assholes and expose them. My guess they are on the current governments payroll or from Nepal's new allies and their friendly services....

King Kong knows:
Only fascist minded people hate the freedom of information!
