Nepal Bandh and UWB Hacked

First quick note on week long bandh called by Maoists: I drove my old Hero Honda Splender to office. So, its enough for you folks to fathom the effect of Bandh. Not only mine, there were numerous vehicles plying on the street. Medical stores were open but groccerries and shops around the main streets were closed. Blogger Dinesh and I went to Putalisadak boarding an overcrowded bus that was guarded by armymen. One army was seated just beside a passenger and other tow were sitting at the back seat. The conductor charged us 10 rupees each. I commented: During bandh they do the brisk business. Dinesh took the pics of the armyman without his knowledge.

At Putalisadak, Nepal Investment Bank's staffs were working like a normal day. As we emerged out of the bank, we saw Nepal Yatayak waiting for us and quickly boarded it. I was lucky enough to get a seat a tad later. As we disembarked from the bus at Tinkune, we gathered that the weeklong Bandh is increasingly becoming farcical. I think tomorrow onwards, there will be more vehicles on the road. Dinesh and I were talking about the hacking of United We Blog! He assured me that it will resume soon but the previous posts may not be there. Someone who was called Tika or wanted to be identified as Tika was behind this mischief. I termed the guy miscreant. Why on earth anyone wants to block the flow of infos and opinions? I also opined that the internet too is vulnerable!
